This site contains images, patterns and instructions for over 500 paper snowflakes that have been cut out of ordinary writing and computer paper with small scissors. The snowflakes have been used to decorate our Christmas tree, windows, furniture, and doorways during the Christmas season for the last 35 years or so. Each Christmas we make a few more to add to our collection. They provide a wintry personal touch to Christmas decorations and if handled with care the snowflakes can be used over and over for many years. Cutting Machine Files
Machine cutting files for 71 selected snowflake patterns are available. These can be used to cut out copies of the snowflakes from card stock or perhaps coloured papers, using die cutting machines, for use as Christmas decorations or in Christmas cards for example. DEDICATION:
I would like to dedicate this collection of paper snowflake patterns to my mother, who sadly is no longer with us. She explored and perfected the "art" of snowflake making and encouraged our whole family to gather round the tree each Christmas Eve and create new snowflakes.
