Snowflake Patterns for Kids
MAKE YOUR OWN: Click on any of the "Pattern & Instruction" or "Pattern Only" links below to bring up the pattern with or without instructions. After printing, close the PATTERN page to return to this page. NOTE: The original paper snowflakes used to create some of these patterns were only about 2" wide. They have been enlarged on the pattern sheet to make them easier to fold and cut. Select the size which prints best for you. Larger patterns are easier to fold and cut out. PLEASE GET AN ADULT TO HELP YOU MAKE THESE PAPER SNOWFLAKES, BE CAREFUL TO CUT JUST THE PAPER AND NOT YOUR FINGERS.
NOTE: REAL SNOWFLAKES HAVE SIX POINTS.! It can be fun to cut out patterns that have different numbers of points, but these are usually called STARS. Only the six-pointed ones should really be called SNOWFLAKES.
The patterns are in PDF format so you need Adobe Acrobat reader or another PDF viewer to view and print the patternrs (go here for FREE Adobe Reader download).
