| Over 300 paper snowflakes (images, "Pattern & Instructions"
, and "Patterns only") are now available on this CD. Instructions for printing
the patterns and cutting out the paper snowflakes are also included. The CD
also contains images of Christmas trees decorated with paper snowflake
decorations and links to many snowflake related sites. Accessing the CD is just
like using the WEB site. You still use your Internet browser but you don't have
to be connected to the Internet (except if you wish to go to the snowflake
related links). The advantages of the CD are that it can be used on a computer that does not have an Internet connection. If you are using a telephone modem for your Internet connection, it is also considerably faster to load the patterns off the CD than downloading them from the WEB site. A great gift for anyone interested in Christmas crafts. The CD has been tested on a PC with Windows 95, 98, ME, and XP with both Internet Explorer and Netscape. It will likely work with other PC operating systems and with other WEB browsers since it uses standard HTML files. If you can download and print the example pattern on this site, then likely you can use this CD on your PC. Recently tested on a Mac: "Dave: it works! I used my Mac G3 PowerBook and the Safari browser in MacOS X and it is fine." |
